The OCC group is inviting ladies to the church from 5:00pm - 8:00pm to pack shoeboxes and chew and chat. To date, we have 624 shoeboxes packed.
Grace Community Church continues to support Operation Christmas Child through the packing of shoeboxes. We have a trip planned to work in the Atlanta Processing Center on December 19th from 8:00am - 10:00am. The processing center inspects boxes before they are sent to their various destinations. If you are interested, please see Sis. Beverly Wheat.
Grace Community Church has a good relationship with the Montgomery Biscuits and we enjoy the fellowship and fun that a good baseball game creates. We have 40 tickets, at $5.00 per ticket for the game on August 27th at 6:35. This is on a Monday night. What better way to wind down from a stressful Monday than with peanuts and Cracker Jacks? There are also two tickets for the Owner's Box for which we will conduct a drawing. The owner's box tickets include free food and an air-conditioned seat. See Karla McGhee to purchase tickets!
Operation Christmas Child (OCC) is hosting a spaghetti dinner after service in August 19th. Times have not been announced as of yet. Check back here for updates.

Pastor Russell McCutcheon will be our guest preacher on October 23rd at the morning service. He is the Outpost Pastor of Fellowship Memphis' Germantown campus, in the Memphis, TN area. Fellowship Memphis is a gospel centered, multi-ethnic, disciple making church.
The annual fish fry will be Sunday September 18th during our normal service hours. This year is different because we will have the fish fry on church grounds. It will not be at Pratt Park. This is why it is important that every member bring at least one friend or acquaintance who is either unsaved or does not attend church regularly. Our theme this year is discipleship. This is an evangelistic event and we want to glorify God by spreading the gospel to as many people as we can. Invite as many people as possible and let's watch God's Kingdom multiply. Sunday school will not meet. If you have questions, please see Sis. Shirley Duncan. Let's be in prayer as this event approaches.
Operation Christmas Child is in full swing. We need your help! We also need donations. We need toothpaste (must be good through June 2017), small toys and hard candy. If you have some time to spare, please come out and lend a hand and pack some boxes. If you have any questions, please contact Alice Price or Janie Gann.
